Google goes through phases of accurately returning windows live spaces in their results. Up until shortly after the release of live spaces the results were as they are today (e.g. can't find sh*t), but then the problem got fixed and once again results were the same as live or yahoo searches.

Now it seems they're broken again.

Yeah, you're probably right. I've seen HTML troubles in the past get Webmasters in trouble, though.

The HTML generated by Spaces is likely not the reason. I could give you a hundred queries where Spaces show up at or near the top (like Maryam Scoble).

Plus, I doubt the fact that Yahoo and MSN/Windows Live return the Writer blog in the #1 spot mean they have better HTML parsers than Google.

Search about Windows Live Spaces on google, you'll find blogs external to Microsoft talking about Live Spaces, but you won't find actual created Live Spaces in the results...
