Maryam helped me figure out how to fix it and, after I apologized, things worked themselves out quite nicely. It wasn't easy though.

They always say that to err is human and to forgive is divine. But they always seem to forget about how hard it is to apologize and admit you're wrong.

So kudos for doing that :-)

Re: Sometimes I need an hour away from the computer…

asssuck @ 36,
What are you, in Junior high school? Go back to Naked Conversations. I think that the point was made that there will always be things like this done. You can't please everyone. You have to let stuff like this just roll off and not let it effect you. Second, I think in a weird way Jason was trying to be a friend. Sort of in the weird way that a friend will always tell you that you have something in your teeth, when no one else will. I have found that when situations like this occur, the best thing is to leave it alone; like you did, then call the person, or meet him at Demo and go have a beer.

Re: Sometimes I need an hour away from the computer…

what a bunch of ass sucking morons!

all over that piece of shit Scoble show ? Believe me, no one in their right mind would consider your crappy, almost illegible sites to be any sort of "competition."

2. If Microsoft likes you so much, then why are you a topic of ridicule at each and every Mobius conference? Even MS employees get in on the fun. If Microsoft respects your contributions to the Windows Mobile community, then why are you not -- nor will you ever be -- a VIP?

3. Where exactly do you identify yourself as Jacek Rutkowski on the Comic Strip Blog?

4. If you are such a legitimate blogger, why do you stalk people all the way across the world to the point where they have to contact local authorities? Please explain how harassing other writers with relentless phone calls is in any way acceptable.

5. Of course I wouldn't leave my real name when calling out a known stalker: you're batshit crazy, friend.

Re: Sometimes I need an hour away from the computer…

@ Robert Scoble: suggestion: I agree with Hugh MacLeod that anonymous comments should be forbidden. Besides: I have not been stealing content like Calacanis and Peter Rojas' Engadget have been doing. Thinking that I can have big influence on blogosphere only shows how totally obsessed with myself you are - just because you are direct competitor to myself in your writings. At least I write as myself pointing out to my blog that identifies me, and you still are hiding behind anonymity. Microsoft has distate? Jacek Rutkowski):

You have a lot of nerve attacking Jason Calacanis and Peter Rojas when it is in fact YOU who is generally considered to be the craziest and most slanderous individual on the Internet. Your podcasts and poorly-drawn comics are full of maniacal rants and hate speech, which is probably why Microsoft has just as much distaste for you as Nokia did. Remember Beattie? Remember JacekWatch? It is you, sir, who is a thorn in the side of the blogosphere, and it is you who should be apologizing to the tech community for your relentless trolling and spamming since the days of BBS. Let's hope there really is a Hell, Jacek, because that is the only appropriate place for an ugly, mean, hate-filled man such as yourself.

Re: Sometimes I need an hour away from the computer…

@21:

How in the world could you be a hockey fan and like Dallas? :)

Calgary Flames here, all the way.
