Is it really that generic now? I believe the more common usage is that "hit" is really a euphemism for sex.
I can't believe I am about to link to the urban dictionary...
I am not trying to be clever. I can just imagine some awkward moments in front of one's children...

Both of those catchphrases are OLD. o rly was being used on forums years ago.
oh, and "i'd hit it" doesnt mean something is good. it means that you would like to have sexual relations with somebody.

I used "The Google" to define "I'd hit it." Apparently those of us on the interweb stole it from McDonald's.
"shens" is a nice, relatively fresh meme.
qft and ofn are some nice ones too, though more forums specific.
