We soaked the bird in a brine solution she got at William Sonoma it really kept it moist. OMG, the turkey was so good and I get to do it again in a few days!

Re: Of course not everyone loves the ScobleShow…

If we lived in a world where everyone liked everything it would be so boring. I actually like not liking some stuff, and indeed like people not liking some of my stuff.

Re: Of course not everyone loves the ScobleShow…

AS I wrote on the 1938 blog, that is the closes that he will get to a CEO of anything. That is what is beautiful about your shows, bringing us in close and raw.

Technically, it can be improved, dressed up, but I like the rawness, frankly.

Or maybe you can add some dancing girls. Hey, wait, that's my job on latenitemash .

Re: Of course not everyone loves the ScobleShow…

A lot of the things he pointed out, I've never even thought about or was bothered about. The umbrella, camera styling, etc.

The resounding thing I walked away with was a solid 'real' interview of the CEO of Sun. (I still love the first question)

Re: Of course not everyone loves the ScobleShow…

Simon: I think he just wanted a link. :-)

Re: Of course not everyone loves the ScobleShow…

Who the hell *is* that guy?! LOL!

He asks, "Have you ever hear of Jonathan Schwartz?"

His answer, "No!" Pretty much, the entire IT industry (at least thouse who are outward-facing) would say, "Yes!" LOL!

He asks, "Have you ever used a Sun product before, or ever in your life seen one?"

His answer, "No!" The entire IT industry would say, "Yes!"

And, probably most people on the planet have been touched by a Sun product in one way or another, given that Java is a Sun product: Java is in most mobile phones; it will be in *every* Blu-ray player (that means, every PS3 too); and Java runs big parts of eBay and Google.

And then, there's the whole "attention spell of a gnat" thing that he has going on! "Thirty four minutes? Thirty four minutes" he sighs... "That's a *long* time. I can't think of *anything* I want do for 34 minutes".

LMAO! Is he for real? Wow! 34 minutes - that's, like, a little bit over half an hour! How can anyone even *imagine* doing anything that takes half an hour.

Perhaps he should try doing a day's work?! That's like 7.5 hours! How the hell do all the people in the world that go to work cope?

Still, he gave me a good laugh! I assume he isn't trying to be taken seriously...

Re: Of course not everyone loves the ScobleShow…

Heh, I just cruised some of the other videos done by him, heh, he's your (but not last) vlog troll.

From the tech community, many people have commented to me that the Scoble/Schwartz interviews is one of the best one. It's not about the production value, it's about the niche interviews you can't get elsewhere.

Re: Of course not everyone loves the ScobleShow…

I, for one, really like what you are doing with ScobbleShow. I like the topics of some shows more than others, that's expected, but I think the quality of all of them is great without losing their... hmmm... Scobleness! :-) have a great thanksgiving.

Re: Of course not everyone loves the ScobleShow…

Scoble, you have my vote. People try to tear you down, only because they think they can. Sun is an amazing company. What they did for the computer industry in the late 80's can't be described. Now, companies are buying cheap stuff from Dell, which I believe in the long run will hurt their business and productivity development. Sun has been hurt because the telco business has been hurt. The telco business needs to reinvent itself or slowly becoming marginalized and eaten alive by the computer business.

Re: Of course not everyone loves the ScobleShow…

calAcanis

Re: Of course not everyone loves the ScobleShow…

1938 media could best be described with "lol". he just seems jealous of you because he'd like to make money the same way you do. did you see the video where he attacs calcanis concerning the whole payperpost issue? i guess they paid him for that.

Re: Of course not everyone loves the ScobleShow…

Thank you for enriching the world.
