I wonder when Matt Cutts is going to make the break. Good path. Companies should keep that in mind when they choose/allow their high profile blogger.

Re: My PR guy

Really enjoyed your interview with Mary Jo. Because it's no longer supported is one major reason. I don't think MS is even making copies of anymore so I'm not sure how the software would even be distributed.

Re: My PR guy

Go for it man, do all of us geeks proud (not that you haven't already) :). This blog is purports to be about technology, but really it's like a big vanity license plate: Look at Me! Look who's writing about me! Look who's linking/quoting/thinking about me! Dude, grow up.

Re: My PR guy

Well, not all of us can get PR people like you. So, i guess that for us, the best thing to do is to learn something about PR techniques and use them. Why doesn't MS give away free copies of Windows 95 to those countries which can't afford the XP or 98. With a basic 15 day IE trial pack they can upload softwares like Firefox or Opera (for the lack of IE after the trial period) and OpenOffice (for the lack of MS Office). They will then have an OS almost as good as MS Windows XP. Just an idea tho.

Re: My PR guy

Hello, this is off topic but here goes: how can a person introduce a category defining, fleshed out concept, to the powers that be. Without a high level contact and vast resources of team and capital I am at a standstill until I can find someone who understands what an Enhanced Directory Service with Single Number Solution applications in the telecommunication market would do for the partner. Short term IPO would only touch values that ongoing partner revenue would produce.

Re: My PR guy

I know your blog from BBC UK, great job!

Re: My PR guy

Hi Scoble, congratulations on your big change in life!

If you have the time, come and visit my blog, though it´s in portuguese since i´m here in Brasil.

I always read your blog, it´s the best!

Nick Ellis
digitaldrops.com.br

Nick F. Was this anomaly of your own doing? Your PR man's efforts or just plain good fortune? I see BBC UK played a big part in the jump. As Adenan Karshogi (probably spelt wrong but he was once the richest man in the world - Mediterranean arms dealer) once said, "There are two secrets to success, firstly seeing your opportunity and secondly having the courage to take it". Well Done.
