Scobleizer: Little duckies head to Flock

  • Chris · 3 years ago
Ze's songs are so catchy and addictive. Kinda like brain crack.
  • Will Pate · 3 years ago
Hey Rob, thanks for coming by! Oh and by the way, we love duckies at Flock too.

Dontr forget Flocks excellent handling of OPML to add feeds.

I need a job Scoble...need a HDV stringer for your new venture?

    Hmm. Another job board...

Another thing that's worth saying about Flock is that they listen to what's being said on blogs. I've blogged about a few issues I've had with the browser and always got quick responses from their staff. So quick that I keep being the one who has to get back to them about something.

If you want to get that song out of your head, see "Ghost World". Since I saw it a few days ago, I've had this song stuck in my head.

I guess Will forgot to credit Chris in recommending him for the job (through his blog + to his then-employer). So, maybe Chris should have a job board? Oh wait, he's a little against those:

    ;)

But hey...open another one...just incorporate microformats, dangit!
  • Robert Scoble · 3 years ago
Tara: he mentioned that he got three recommendations from people who worked at Flock. I didn't mention them, but should have. Thanks!
  • Robert Scoble · 3 years ago
BTW: I'm not doing a job board. I'll just use Craig's List, which will bring me plenty of people, if that's what I need.

Maybe I should start hitting some of these job boards.

Robert... how often do these companies hire someone to work remotely (aka I live in Maine, and work in CA, WA, etc).
  • Will Pate · 3 years ago
Yep, Chris was one of 3 people at Flock who recommended me and they all know how thankful I am for that. In fact, I think about those recommendations every day and they drive me to make sure I live up to their word.

Concerning your mail backlog: Take a look at http://www.43folders.com/2006/09/01/wolsey-email/

I've found that my day becomes peaceful the minute I have an empty in box. It was hard to have it be empty at first, but I got over it. Now I get cranky when I stop cleaning it out.
