well Robert, i would kill to be at this event. It is all about what i am currently passionate about. I am sure i would discover great apps that way (This is something similar to what i organized here in Israel a few weeks ago called "iPhone and Pizzas" for the same purpose).
Darn it - I'll be there just one week later. I'll be there the 7th and 8th around Mountainview.

The genius feature did go some way to helping the situation but there is still a huge problem with finding good apps. What is even worse as somebody who has developed a few is promoting them. You can have the best app in the world but getting the nessage out is next to impossible even if you have a massive marketing budget.
