The best and worst thing Twitter did in 2009: RT

http://poddev.comitar.com - PodDev is a new tech podcast that looks to talk to the people who are making the web the exciting, ever-changing place that it is. In our first show we talk about Apple's WWDC announcements, Intel's open sourcing of drivers, and the launch of CrunchGear (with an interview). Our featured guest is Paul Colton, creator of JRun and most recently an open source HTML/JavaScript IDE called Aptana.
By the way, for that domain you were trying to think of, intelligeek.net is available.

And here's the relevant posting about it on my personal blog.

We'll miss you at PodCamp.
Don't mind the design -- I'm switching to Wordpress with a new one, but haven't found the time to put it up.

...does this mean I have to write something good tomorrow?

Because we're the only space elevator company in the world that bothers to blog.
Okay, we're the only organization dedicated to building a space elevator but still. Worth reading and keeping in your RSS feed for novelty' sake. News blogs and entertainment blogs and funny krep blogs are everywhere. Liftport's blog is unique.
That's what we're trying to do ;)

It's a serious issue though, and I am serious about it - so I would appreciate any help (and any comments of encouragement on my blog from your guests would be a plus).

My extremely reasonable conservative commentary is a little too refined for the masses and could easily be misinterpreted by those without the keen intellect necessary to understand what I am trying to say. In the wrong hands it could even be dangerous.

She hates them because they reinforce a hierarchical view of blogs and puts some blogs on a pedestal. I tend to agree with that view, but it's human behavior. I can only read a few hundred blogs on a regular basis. So, a hierarchy needs to exist for each reader.
It's just that a pre-defined list makes it a lot harder for new bloggers to get noticed.
Hence this post.
14 years ago cancer killed my mother, now I want my revenge. That's why I'm organising the Kill Cancer Death Rally, a sponsored drive from London to Barcelona.
The blog is personal, the name is remarkable (the Kill Cancer Death Rally - how much does that stick in the mind), we're Stormhoek's first European geek event, we've got a wiki, we'll be creating viral content through cool partnerships ie getting grafitti artists to paint the cars.
You'll find the Kill Cancer Death Rally at www.barcelonaorbust.wordpress.com - we're still looking for people to come along, so if you're in the UK please join.
Thanks Robert and keep up the good work.

1) I'm upgrading hosts.
2) I'm going to get Maryam to smack ya.
*grin*
We're looking forward to you coming to CS.
So far I'd like to think I've managed to keep the blog industry rather than company -centric, and do some interest things along the way (like free Wordpress blog hosting at your own domain).
There's millions of personal tech bloggers, but very few (as far as I can see) good business blogs. Hopefully this: http://www.hosting365.com/blog is one of the better ones.

Thanks, Robert.
I recently started outdoorhacks.com. Most easily summed up as lifehacks for the outdoors. You guys probably could have used some of the tips before your Montana trip. Thanks.

Check it out, I promise it will be worth it!
Plus, if you leave me a comment and say Scoble sent you, I'll give you 10% off your next comment.

Yea I'd say this will definitely p*ss some A-Lists (shudder) off. Or maybe this is some sort of covert survey to see how many will avail of it...
Anyway, a blog on 2 interesting technologies... online image editing and on-demand web-editing...

Cheers Robert!
You don't just talk about community, you live it. Where did you learn that?
My personal blog is GetSheila, where I entertain my friends and become one with this whole e-community thing.
Thank you for the insanity.
She was big into community herself.
I would like to suggest you read a blog by Gwyneth Llewelyn of Second Life. Specificly these two entries, The Next-Generation Second LifeĀ® Platform and Crowdsourcing in Second Life.

Because I'm pretty sure you've never had anybody from Edmonton come up with a blog that you'll read about the trials and tribulations of roommates and home ownership.

Let's see, start again.
Robert Scoble, the Scobleizer, should link to Very Suppositious at http://www.suppositio.us because I, uh, we, try very hard to be funny, and we probably succeeded once, just ask our reader.

In other words, I don't need any link from you. But it would be really nice to get a comment on my work, so if you ever have a few minutes of spare time and want to help a guy improve his art, feel free to write me a line! :)
My site is for people who are traveling by bicycle on long distance tours. I provide a method for them to post there daily pictures and write something about the day. If they just want to post via email I have a special plugin setup for me that allows posting. Free email accounts for those who are posting via email
Example; one week doing 450 miles or a 65 day cross the usa trip on the route called the "southern tier"
Thanks for allowing me to post this.

The point is helping people access the wisdom they've got inside -- to help them act as they intend vs reacting. So in a sense, our top tips help people from taking tips like yours! Though yours are funnier.
