You seem to have an engaging, tech-savvy brain who talks with savvy folks --- big wigs or not so big wig. And you share that with all of us who can't even get close to that type of access. And you seem to have a healthy home life. There's nothing boring about that in an age where marriages fail and homes break-up by the minute. I hope to say 'hi' in person at ConvergeSouth next week and hope that you admit by then that you're not so damn boring after all.

Re: Happy Halloween photos

Man you aren't joking, that guy has some serious talent. Nice layout. How about buying an old clunker and sending $8k to Darfur. I can guarantee you will get far greater mileage out of the money and just think of the chuckles you'll get when you explain to folks why you are not driving the Mercedes to work. Just a thought.

Re: Happy Halloween photos

More on the ridiculous side - I walked into my local supermarket yesterday to find Christmas products already on display! I don't know whether you have the same in the US, but here in the UK Christmas gets earlier every year, and its just annoying! I like the event itself, not the stupid buildup at the beginning of October.

Re: Happy Halloween photos

I love the photo of you and Patrick and Maryam -- it's beautiful with the sunflowers behind you. Yes, lately you are not punching out 3 to 6 articles a day, but your other efforts are well worth the read.
According the Newsgator, you have 22,378 subscribers, that is a lot of bored people to looking at your stuff every day.

Guy

Re: Happy Halloween photos

Robert, speaking of RSS Icons, you may want to update your "XML" icon as well!

Thomas, great work as always, I loved the family portrait photo best of all.

Re: Happy Halloween photos

Last Saturday Shel drove me all around this area. I am rather unobservant too... :-D

On a different subject entirely, PodDev (the podcast I co-founded/co-host) recently interviewed Josh Jones, CJO (aka CEO) of Dreamhost. You've mentioned Dreamhost a few times here so I thought you might be interested. We talked about a lot including the downtime, upgrades to their network, etc.

http://poddev.comitar.com/2...
