  • Michael Gannotti · 2 years ago
Great clips. Loved watching the CERN one. By the way the embedded PodTech videos look fantastic. You guys have done a fantastic job with them!

Robert, do you do anything "special" to make your video quality so clear. They look really good. Any pointers to share? :)

So, I can go to a bar, lure someone away to a private corner, reveal myself gradually, and plant my seed. Interesting.

Catherine: get a good HD camera, get a Macintosh, use Final Cut Pro. :-)

Seriously, we'll do a video on what I do.

urbanseeder is incredibly interesting... i like the way it bridges the gap between the RL and the web, and maintains the "mystery" component of meeting people. its really going to be a shame when i get completely flooded with spam seeds, though, and when spiderman 4 starts planting seeds all over the place.

also, in this day and age, does "exclusive" really make sense any more?

That's amazing, Flickr in the hallway...Blows my mind. I signed up for UrbanSeeder beta. Can't wait!

If anything, I hope urbanseeder usurps that horrible site, eharmony. If I see Dr. Neil Clark Warren pimp his servive again on TV, I'm going to vomit.

29 compatability dimensions and all that...

What's wrong with just going to church or some kind of get together and meeting someone real in the flesh instead of scoping one another out from afar on the Internet? I have never used a dating service and never will. If you cannot meet someone during the normal course of your comings and goings, you have issues. Full stop.

I like the concept but worry a bit about safety, especially for teens. Being "lured" into a private space could be a scary proposition.

people- i dont know where you all live, but if its a town thats smaller than 1000 ppl, urban seeder may not be for you.
as for ppl in NY or other bigger places,
thats looks like a smart and easy way to "get out there"
and have fun.. it great i can talk to someone i like in a bar and than, get to know him thru a safe place like urbanseeder.. no presure.. NY/Paris
