You lost media war in a big way and now they are moving to PC arena with challenging offerings. They are not going to kill you but you will be bleeding and it will hurt. I'm sorry.
And they haven't started their real move to a phone arena.

Yep, why to buy BMW when Kia would move me from point A to point B. And yet BMW is doing better and better each quarter.
They could get 20-30% marketshare in 5 years with a real decent strategy, instead of the overpriced 'style over substance' kick, tho at least now not underpowered.
You can have beige boxes for the corporates running OSX, and then standard boring but decent priced consumer units, high flair gamer Alienware-like Macs, and the pretty spacey-slick design units for the black-turtle-necked rattail Starbucks Yuppie Photoshopheads. Instead Steve Jobs gives us a menu with ONE meal. Wasted opportunity, Microsoft is darned lucky their competitors are so inept.
