Wow -- thanks for the nice post, what a nice surprise.

To clarify, I have not made any decisions on supporting John Edwards or any other candidate in the 2008 presidential race.

I have met with him and his staff to discuss web strategies, but I would meet with other NC politicians, regardless of party and at no charge, to have similar conversations.

I'm friendly with Elizabeth, and I'm certainly open to supporting John's candidacy, but as yet I'm still covering the story, not making endorsements.

Thanks again for the nice post, Robert, and for all you do to humanize tech and blogging.

Posts like this is why I love your site ... it's great how one day you might be posting about the latest and greatest tech advances, and the next you're talking about lounging around eating banana pudding.

I always read CIO Insight mag, I'll need to start looking for his 'know it all' articles and read his blog. Sounds like a great guy.
