What innovative things is HP working on? Did you score interviews with anyone from HP Labs?
  • Robert Scoble · 2 years ago
HP Labs interviews are coming. HP has lots of interesting things coming.

This was really fantastic! Thanks for recording and posting the video of the garage and especially Anne Mancini. HP is lucky to have someone so knowledgeable doing this type of tour.

It would be fascintating to have a follow up blog post of a tour of the equally historic HP Labs. For those interested in the research there, check out:

    Thank you, Robert.

It was great having the opportunity to see and tour the garage where HP was built.

Anne Mancini did a great job of humanizing and bringing HPs early history to life, and putting the historical importance of the garage into perspective.

After having to help my sister out of a "Code Purple" on an HP machine, there's nothing about HP that would interest me. It was downright evil. :-)

This is an excellent treat! I'll probably never get to visit the inside of the garage, but now I feel like I have. It's inspiring to know how small they started. I'd love to see that business plan that Anne Mancini mentioned because I'm typing this in 2007 on an HP computer. I noticed that they haven't changed their logo. When I saw their old logo in your video, I looked down to check. It's the same stylized two letters, yet it still looks modern.

    Thanks, Robert.
