Yes, I said it: YOU'RE NOT A GEEK IF YOU USE IE!

Re: Chris Pirillo’s favorite browser company is blogging

Stefan - here's my Maxthon UI.

http://static.flickr.com/26...

I could easily turn off the middle two toolbars and have something much more like your screenshot. But I actually use those sometimes, despite the 8 button mouse :)

Re: Chris Pirillo’s favorite browser company is blogging

I've been using Maxthon since around the time they changed the name from MyIE2.

It's a great product with a great set of (ever-growing) features.

It does feel a bit like a "power user" browser, though. It has a lot of functionality and a lot of customizeability. This can overwhelm some people.

Stefan - that doesn't look like Firefox's default UI layout though, unless it's changed since I last saw it. You could easily make Maxthon look exactly the same.

Re: Chris Pirillo’s favorite browser company is blogging

Maxthon is just Internet Explorer with a new UI. Hell will freeze over before I trust IE with anything.

Re: Chris Pirillo’s favorite browser company is blogging

I used Maxthon until Firefox came around. It's much better than plain IE, but IE stability issues killed any chance I'd stick with it when Firefox arrived. Firefox has it's share of issues but compared to IE, it's a Godsend.

Re: Chris Pirillo’s favorite browser company is blogging

http://img178.imageshack.us...

This is why I like firefox.

Re: Chris Pirillo’s favorite browser company is blogging

I really don't like it, what I love about firefox, that companies don't seem to see, is that the UI is extremly minamilistic.

In firefox, I literally have a one line UI thanks to my mouse having back and forth buttons.

Here is a screenshot: http://img178.imageshack.us...

Re: Chris Pirillo’s favorite browser company is blogging

I'll check it out.
