Scobleizer: BestBuy gets more productive on WorkFastTV

    Robert,

I'd love to come talk to you about what we're doing at the Information Overload Research Group (http://www.iorgforum.org/). We just officially launched the organization a few weeks ago and will be having our first IORG conference in a couple of weeks in NYC. We're bringing together academics, corporate researchers, solutions providers, analysts, and end-user companies to share and collaborate on solutions to help improve productivity and reduce information overload and stress.

Looking forward to the Ferriss interview.

This was a fun interview...Gary Koelling was a delight when I interviewed him last week and he and Steve Bendt (and their colleague Cameron Gross) were very accommodating to Minnov8.

Thought I'd shamelessly plug our site (a five geek labor-of-love with no business model) and our interview with BSN for those of your viewers interested in a bit more (and a screenshot of BSN): http://minnov8.com/2008/06/27/bsn/

I think having Deva involved would be valuable, as well. I'll be heading to IORG next month as it should be a useful and diverse group of folks --and all of your viewers could benefit from any new knowledge and ideas that are shared there.

Plus I'm sure he'll have plenty of insight to offer around the most popular "productivity tool" within the business community (for better or worse), which is still MS Outlook.

Great catching up in DC this past week!

Wow... didn't realize Best Buy was that big.

If you employ disposable low-level part-timers, without any stakes or loyalty, as the main army, and are consistently 30-50% higher priced than competitors, no amount of effort will ever make any headway, this is all pointless make-work.
