I'm also underwhelmed by Google Base after using the Bulk Upload feature to add items based on the Northwind Products, Categories, and Suppliers tables.

Robert, you may be interested in Ultimate Tag Warrior, a WordPress plugin. You can use it instead of categories (don't know how it would fare in conjunction with wordpress.com, though). I use it on my blog.

Robert, It was great running into you and I really appreciate the copy of the book. I still have my pre-order in, so I'll have a galley copy and a first edition to put proudly on my bookshelf.
